  18. It is a fly-n community. I live at "Casa De Aero" (68IS) in Hampshire, IL. it is about 32 northeast of Chicago O"Hare (ORD).
  19. Don Maxwell checked for leaks and checked the bellows, that was fine.
  20. Who would you recommend to overhaul the speed brakes? I have had two shops look at them but they weren't any help. I called Precise Flight, but they weren't interested in this at all. The speed brakes work pretty good on the ground but slow to retract in the air. They work better in warm weather than cold. I had Weep No More reseal my fuel tanks soon after buying the airplane. I'm thinking the the cables in the wings might have thick fuel residue. I believe the cables are enclosed in a coil type housing, on the idea of a throttle cable on a lawn mower. If this residue was on the housing it could penetrate down into the cable and be a sticky mess.
  21. I have vacuum operated speed brake that lag when retracted. I'm interested in changing them to manual cable operated speed brakes. Does anybody know where I can get a set, and can they be installed in a 1984 M20J? Tom Moquin N5756K

  24. It will be interesting to see how the bonding of composite to aluminum holds upon 20 years.
  25. is that for 2016? Or both 2015 and 2016? Boy I don't know know how they can stay in business with such a low number of orders.
