Pre buy shop / A&P recommendations Indianapolis

Howdy,

I’m currently looking into buying a 20J that is based in Indianapolis. I’ve tried to find a Mooney Service Center near by, but apparently the closest one is in Illinois. 

Any recommendations for a good shop or A&P in the area?

Give Jeff Schnabel a call. Several others and myself can vouch for him. He's based a short drive or quick flight away in Cincinnati.

I used Anderson Aircraft Services/Keith Givens for pre-purchase inspection. Others recommended by the broker in Indianapolis area.

Hi, I purchased my Ovation 3 from IndyAir in May. I had, Chad Williams drive in and do the prebuy. He's a Mooney Specialist.

I didn't have Anderson Aircraft do the prebuy because they had done the last few annuals. Chad was very good. Also, Jeff Schnable flew the plane back to Vegas with me. Great guy.

 

I'm sure Jeff would do a good job, as would Keith. I know Keith had been doing the ongoing maintenance of my O for a number of years and it is in fantastic shape.

I know of an experienced Mooney mechanic in STL and he personally owns a J. He’s busy, but might be down to travel. If interested I can connect you.
