N57540 is a 1984 Mooney M20J, serial number 24-1459 which I have owned for three years. The only reason I’m selling is I want a glass panel and the shops are all telling me there is a 6 month delay on parts and then my plane will be in the shop for three months. Too long! I found another J, as nice as mine, with a glass panel so I bought it. Time for someone else to enjoy a really nice M20J that's in great condition, ready to fly anywhere. Total Airframe time is 4685. TSMO by Penn Yan is 1185. Overhaul was to factory new specifications. Last annual was July 2023 with compressions 72,74,76,74. Engine is IO-360-A3B6D. New alternator belt installed last annual just as preventive maintenance and a new battery was installed 2021. Propeller is a Hartzell Scimitar HC-C2YR-1BF with 367 hours. I burn 7 GPH at economy power cruising flying 135 knots or 159 knots burning 11.5 GPH at high cruise. New brake pads 2022, inflatable door seal 2021 (no cold air on passengers leg and very quiet), Flightstream 210 installed 2020 for bluetooth to a tablet, new rear headphone jacks installed 2020, new comm antenna installed 2021, new landing gear shock discs 2017. Avionics include Garmin 530 WAAS factory overhauled 2019, Garmin GTX-330 transponder overhaul 2019 (ADSB out), standby vacuum system, JPI 450 Fuel Totalizer (accurate to ½ gallon), JPI EDM Engine Monitor, King KX 155 Navcom with KI-209 Converter with Glideslope, KMA 24 Audio Panel, KFC 150 Autopilot with Flight Director which will fly heading, track the GPS, track both the localizer and glideslope for a fully coupled approach. There is a backup Artificial Horizon and Directional Gyro. PAI Vertical Card Compass, Digital Clock with flight time and timer, Handheld radio antenna connection, Electric Trim (auto), Leather covered yokes, glairshield and center post by AeroComfort, sun visors, 4 place intercom with music input, panel mounted ELT switch, Hobbs Meter, Wingtip and Tail strobes, LED landing light, Ram Air, leather camel color interior (7), rear fold down seats, articulation front seats, 4 place shoulder harness, paint shines (7). I don’t cut corners and have preventive maintenance done regularly. No Damage History. All logs. Plane is hangared at KOWK in Maine. Ferry anywhere can be arranged for a fee and airline ticket home.
