Mcstealth Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 Okay. A pretty penny it is for the M-20 Turbo. To compare it to real estate home buying, that $35,000 dollar swimming pool and landscaping investment only returns MAYBE 50%, maybe less. Seen this time and time again. Same apply for any modification speed mod, even one as expensive as the M-20? McStealth Quote
TurboExec Posted October 28, 2008 Report Posted October 28, 2008 I bet it is less than that. I would think a M20F would top out at about $85k no matter what it has in it (avionics, turbo, paint, interior), there get to be to many alternatives over that price. So if you find yourself a perfect F model for say $60k dump $35k into it, you have $95k....sell it for maybe $85k and you only lost yourself $10k. Now the chances of finding a pristine F model for $60k....well I bet it will be hard. You are better off finding one with the turbo already installed. There are plenty out there in the C, E, and F models. In fact I know of a turbo charged F model is for sale. Quote
