BorealOne Posted February 26, 2011 Report Posted February 26, 2011 Had the privilege of spending a couple of days with Bruce Jaeger in Willmar, MN this week learning how to fly my new-to-me Ovation. http://www.jaegeraviation.com/training Sure, I'd done some training for insurance purposes, and now have about 70h in my new bird, but the time spent with Bruce took things to a whole new level. I now understand my plane better - from the firewall forward as well as back. We spent a lot of time on engine management theory, systems, cold weather operations, and had a little fun doing a little upper airwork, maneuvers, emergency procedures, and IFR recurrency. I'd highly recommend Bruce to any Mooney owner looking to take their understanding of our aircraft to the next level. Quote
Mooney_Allegro Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 I took the Mooney Pilot Proficiency Course in Chattanooga, TX last year. Bruce was one of the instructors, and he was truly amazing at his knowledge of the Mooney. He's top notch for sure both professionally and personally. Quote
Jfinch Posted May 10, 2011 Report Posted May 10, 2011 Bruce provided my Ovation transition training (from a J model) in January, 2011 and it was fantastic. I try to attend a MAPA PPP every other year or so, and having someone train in a manner consistent with the PPP classes was great. Bruce has a calm manerism and is an excellent instructor. I highly recomend him. Quote
