TheTurtle Posted July 26, 2016 Report Posted July 26, 2016 I need to replace a few hoses on an 67 M20F. Heber isnt able to cross ref a couple mooney numbers. I dont really want to go out and pull the hoses to bring to them to match as the plane is an hour drive from me and Id like to do the R&R at one time. Does anybody have a useable part number or the size/fitting type of these hoses: Oil pressure hose MS28741-3-19 #13Page 159 diagram Page 160 parts Heber says this is a 350-3-0190 they cant match these 2: Fuel pressure hose S111-312f-312-6-18 1/2 #20Page 155 Diagram Page 156 parts Brake lines SF-111-312-312-4-33 #102Page 229 Diagram Page 234 Parts Quote
N601RX Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 I believe you will find that 111 hose type 312 hose end type(straight) 312 hose end type 6 hose size 18-1/2 length some AP's don't mind repairing a hose by removing the old rubber and replacing it with new while reusing the ends as long as they are not corroded. Others don't won't the liability if anything goes wrong we did this with all my hoses a few years ago, it was around $150 for all 17 or so hoses. Be sure to check the ones behind the panel also. They may still be original. 1 Quote
Yetti Posted July 27, 2016 Report Posted July 27, 2016 call pht hoses. He has all the data you need. 1.1 AMU for the complete engine set. Fancy brown ones with silicone fire sleeve. Standard hoses are about 200 less, but you have to deal with fire sleeve in a tight environment http://www.aircrafthose.com/ I don't think he had data for brake lines but 7 feet of 111-4 from Spruce will get you going.
