brianwsparks Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Anybody got the part number for the screws and cambolts for the engine cowling on a M20R? Thanks! Brian Sparks
carusoam Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 My C had a couple to pick from (shaft length) depending on location. Do you know which one you are looking for? I need to hunt a few fasteners as well. It will be in a couple of days though... The battery access panels seem to shed a couple every decade or so... Best regards, -a-
brianwsparks Posted April 14, 2014 Author Report Posted April 14, 2014 The cams on the lower portion are what I need. They look like the same size as on the upper part of the cowling. Here are the best sites I've found nut I don't have a part number http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/hapages/camloc2700.php?clickkey=4199 http://www.skybolt.com
Cruiser Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 The camlocs between the upper and lower cowling are 40S5-4S The screws in the front corner and in the air inlet are MS24694S51 Along the lower cowl to firewall are 40S5-2S Around the Induction air duct 27S3-3S Around the exhaust are 27S3-3S NOTE: 2. Length of camloc may vary +/- 2 sizes depending on composite layers. Use proper length for attachment.
carusoam Posted April 14, 2014 Report Posted April 14, 2014 Tom, Thanks for those details. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to come through in timely fashion! Best regards, -a-
