acrotex Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 I need a brake caliper "piston" for 63 M20C. The parts manual says it is PN 35-202 or could use the entire caliper. These are for use with wheels marked 40-24. I can't find PN on the calipers any longer. I found my piston is bent, slightly on the thin area where the O ring goes. Someone must have stepped on it some time in its past. Was trying to find out why pads on that wheel always wear at an angle and now understand why as the piston does not want to move smoothly. Quote

isaacpr7 Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 If you happen to need more parts, go to ebay and type the word "mooney" on the search bar. There are a few guys parting out their mooneys to the bare bones. Quote
N601RX Posted November 19, 2013 Report Posted November 19, 2013 The entire caliper is expensive, around $600 a couple of years ago. You can buy a new housing for around $200 and put the other parts on and in it. I got my new housing from Spruce. I think they sold pistons also. Quote
