I ordered a "new" not overhauled RC Allen model 22-11F horizon on 06/29/2015 from Aircraft Spruce. It is warranted for 1 year supposedly. This past Monday on a flight it started showing a turn in level flight. It had worked prior to this flight. I talked to Aircraft Spruce and they say it's not their problem. They say I must go through RC Allen even though Aircraft Spruce sold the item to me. RC Allen or now Kelly says I have to send it in. I'll be responsible for paying an A/P to take it out and reinstall it. I'll have to pay the shipping charges and miss my scheduled flight this Monday. They will not send me a new one to install when this one is taken out and then send the defective one back to them. I think Aircraft Spruce should stand behind what their selling and send me a new one then deal with RC Allen for making crappy stuff. Who's at fault here?

What is the differnce in the UAT(GDL88) and the transponder? What does it do that the transponder doesn't?

I have a 430W, a stratus 2, and an old collins transponder. What are my options to meet the 2020 requirement if my transponder dies? What's the best way to use what I have already?

No it doesn't work the autopilot. I have a Brittain autopilot installed.

It is the primary Vacuum driven AI in the plane. I want one with a warning flag, not sure of the model yet.

Which is better and why? I am in need of a new AH and I am trying to decide between RC Allen and Sigma Tek. Sigma Tek is more expensive.

Is this stuff still for sale?

I flew my cherokee out to Brittain this time last year and he installed the accuflite and accutrack in it. I had nothing to begin with, not even any parts. Took him 3 weeks to do, but has been the best thing I have ever done. I was originally told it would be a year wait, but I called atleast once a month and finally he said come on. Ended up only waiting about 2 months. I find I use the accuflite, heading bug, way more than the accutrack. I think it's one of the best autopilots going. It has vacuum and electric running it. The whole system was installed for less then the stec 20 system would have costed just to purchase the system.

Is this for 14V? Does it support 3 comms? Come with the harness and everything to hook it up?
