We use an O2D2 connected to the factory oxygen system of our 252. I'm very happy with it. We flew more than 100 hours since we had the tank filled the last time and it's not empty, yet. I don't know how many of the 100+ hours were on oxygen, maybe half, but certainly more than a third. You don't get oxygen at evry A/D over here in Europe, so for us it pays twice. And I'm not affiliated to that company or it's founder ;-) Gunter

Hm, according to my A&P there are two units with part number 800397-503 built into the plane. Actually it's the last 252 ever built (25-1230). If it was equipped with a 800270-503 there shauld be only one, right? I guess I'll have to check this myself.

One more question concerning the regulators: I have two alternators with two seperate regulators and one isn't working. On one of the regulators there is a label with the number 800397-503. Is this the Mooney nuber for the VR802? Thanks, Gunter
