    I preflight with flaps down. I’m sure you’re right, they have play at any setting except up.

    If it is meant to be there, what is the reason for the slot?

    I have a 1970 F. The trailing edge of the flaps have about 1/2” of vertical play when the flaps are fully down. The rod end at the end of the motor has a slot that allows this play. I’m wondering if this is the way it’s supposed to be or if it’s supposed to be a hole and after 55 years, it’s turned into a slot.

    I like the idea of a switch on the panel. I assume that’s a minor alteration that my A/P should have no problem doing?

    After a few years of hand flying, I’d like to see if I can get the PC to work. But I’m missing the piece that goes in the yoke. The rest of the system seems intact. IIUC, without the valve, the system cannot work. Does anyone know where I could get that little piece/button that goes in the yoke. 1970 F.

    To be clear, it does Not have a U-avionics tail beacon. But the paperwork would seem to indicate that it does have ADS-B out…?

    When bought the AC, the 335 was already installed. Broker listing had said “no ADS-B”. I asked my mechanic if it has ADS-B out, he said if it doesn’t have a U-avionics tail beacon, it doesn’t… How do I know for sure?

    It’s been slinging the better part of a year :/ No it didn’t start after maintenance. Yeah I’m leaning towards a reseal. Thanks!

    Hi all, I think the time to upgrade my old AD-hub prop has arrived. Slinging some grease around inside the spinner. What are my options? Does someone have a good used one? Am I better off in the long run buying new? Which prop is recommended? I’d like to stick with a 2-blade aluminum.

    Got mine last year, have logged 90 hrs since and now my premium just went up 600 a year. Not sure why cause it’s supposed to go down after the first year …
