  1. Howdy anyone know where i can find either the part number for, or the actual hub cap bracket that covers the bearing on the mains? I have the single screw disc style. I haven’t been able to find anything in search for the style that I need. I included pictures for reference. thanks in advance chris
  2. Pretty sure it’s implied but I’ll ask anyways. So if I fly VFR without using the call sign, I’d have to change my transponder to reflect the N- number instead if the call sign right?
  3. So in order to do this, I’d also need to change my registration in the transponder from my N number to the call sign?
  4. sent a message to lasar so just waiting to hear back from them. i did find the part at napa but it says its carbon steel whereas the original fitting is brass so not sure if that will be an issue
  5. The pump ad was complied with in '69 but from what i see in the updated AD list, the filter is still required unless the pump was switched to thee 4199-00-19a so from my understanding, the filter still needs to be in place.
  6. SBM20-222B.pdf (mooney.com) thats the link to the SB. the only thing i need is the fitting itself that attaches to the pump. The inline filter is still intact (we have the dukes 4140-00-19a)
  7. Hello Does anyone know where one can find the filter kit listed in the SB? More than anything, i need the brass fitting that goes into the boost pump (PN 9515 6x6 i believe is what its listed as). thanks for the help
  8. Right. But there’s no way of knowing that until you actually touch down and the gear collapses, right?
  9. yup. one mental checklist i always do when extending the gear is pulling down on the handle to make sure it properly locks into place. i was just curious if theres anything else as a safety precaution in case say a link or something breaks where it would place the gear in an unsafe position
  10. Hello Sorry if this is a duplicate post. I tried using the search function to filter out options but had no luck finding what i was looking for so here it goes. You guys with the Johnson bar, what or how do you confirm that your gear is down since the light on the panel just detects the position of the bar itself. So far ive been relying on thoughts and prayers but was curious if you guys are using other methods. Thanks in advance
  11. I fly with a 11" ipad pro with a pivot case mounted to the yoke in landscape mode and it fits perfect if I offset the mount to the right side of the yoke. I also got their leg strap to mount it on my knee if i dont want it on the yoke or for when i fly other aircraft but the yoke mount works great in my E and you still get visibility of the instruments
  12. Appreciate all the help. Thanks much!
  13. Anyone have the AMM for a 65 M20E?
  14. Pump didn’t even run with engine running. Once back in the hanger I turned master on and pump on (pump didn’t work), left the switch on and tapped the pump a few times with a rubber mallet and viola, it worked
  15. I couldn’t find where the pump terminals were (wires seemed hardwired) but when I tapped the pump with a mallet and the switch in the on position, the pump started working
  16. im on a 12v system though so wouldnt that be charged. after running the engine for a bit today before scrubbing the flight, battery read about 12.4 and was reading that when i left the hanger
  17. Tapped the pump a few times and it did come on and currently working which is leading me to believe it is in fact the pump
  18. Planning on doing just that. Didn’t have any tools on me so gonna head back to the hanger and pull the panel off. It did work initially when I got to the hanger this am but it sounded like it was either tired or low on voltage. Battery volts read 11.8 so def not a battery issue. Prior to this it would always come on strong. I really appreciate all of the help by the way
  19. I did find the original equipment list that stated dukes but then it was replaced what looks like in 69. Do you know if the welding listed above would be the only part number? Trying to call around here to see if anyone has it in stock but heading home to get tools to pull the panel off
  20. Question for y’all. Did the 65 have an option of either a Weldon or dukes pump? Been trying to find in the logs if or when it was converted but can’t find anything other than the A/D listings that say “do dukes pump” for the dukes pump ad
  21. Awesome thanks much
  22. When is this?
  23. We should meet up sometime and do lunch or something. The cafe at SFF isn’t terrible
  24. I believe it’s the stc that was done on it. I was looking though my ads and it said no dukes pump installed for the fuel pump ad
  25. Sorry, I meant we don’t have a duke pump based on what I saw in the logbooks and ad list
