  1. Thanks for the replies. I put it on Barnstormers, so we'll see what happens. I didn't put a price, just "best offer". Any ideas on what I should try to get for it?
  2. Hi All, I'm looking for advice. I bought a 1965 Mooney M20C. The airframe is fantastic, as it spent most of it's life in dry climates in the West. It has smooth belly, gap seals, 6 pac panel mod, etc. However, I've decided that the cost of restoring her is too much for me. The engine has been pulled for another project. Is there any money in selling part of, or the whole airplane? What should I do with it? Looking for any advice... Thanks - Rob

  6. Thanks for the replies! I'll stay away from the 3-blade. Thanks @Cody Stallings. I did talk to Hartzell Friday afternoon. They said their 2-blade, HC-C2YR-1BFP/F7497, is a good seller. MSRP is $11,700. Ouch. I did see a new one on Barnstormers for a little less, but it looks like I'd need the STC paperwork. So, not sure if that would work. Other props I should consider when cost is an issue? Thanks for the leads @carusoam! I'll contact Alan, Jerry and Shery. Thanks - Rob
  7. Became a 1965 Mooney M20C owner last week. I'm new to the group, just joined today, so I hope I'm not putting this topic in the wrong place. The plane I purchased had a prop strike and I can't overhaul the prop because it's a McCauley 2d36c14-ag (only allowed on the A & B models). So, I'm looking for a new-used prop. Any ideas out there on what's best? I do have an STC in my logs for a hartzell hc-c3yr-1rf/f7282. That's a 3 blade that was taken off after a prop strike in 2009. What else should I consider? And, anyone have a prop/spinner/plate combo they'd like to sell?
