Private pilot and airplane owner since 1987. Owner of 1981 Mooney M20K, 1975 Piper Warrior, current owner of 1983 M20J Missile 300.

Test Engineer in a cryogenic materials lab in Boulder, Colorado in 1988, then joined Boeing's structural test lab in Seattle,
In 1991 moved to Boeing payloads section for the 777 initial certification program was ramping up worked Boeing's first dynamic test 16g seat program.
Joined the FAA in 1995 working in cabin safety branch of the Seattle Aircraft Certification Office.
In 1997 changed to working all certification aspects of general aviation certification programs (part 23). Worked type certification programs for Lancair (Columbia airplanes, now Cessna 300), and Cub Crafters CC18 (a two seat airplane like the Piper Cub). Worked with Mountain High Aviation and Precise Flight for the pulse oxygen systems.
In 2000 and 2003, helped create two children. took a break from flying to raise the kids and deal with health issues.
In 2004, moved up to transport directorate cabin safety staff. Develop regulations, Equivalent safety findings, special conditions and exemptions for transport airplanes. Specialized in airplane seats, ongoing interior certification projects for Boeing airplane models and the cabin safety class for FAA and other airworthiness authorities.
In 2006 developed a week long cabin safety class for aviation authorities, TC/STC applicants, inspectors and operators. Taught this class for USA, South America, Japan, China, Singapore and Australia.
In 2020, returned to flying and working on updating the Missile. Plans include GAMI injectors, LR tanks, E5 or G5 panel upgrades, removal of Vac system, interior and paint... If I will the Publishers Clearing house or HGTV sweepstakes, LOL.
