I started flying when I was 15, I flew solo for the first time on my 16th birthday before I could drive a car by myself. I took some time away from flying as I went to college and then got back in it to finish my PPL around 20. From then I have fallen back in love with aviation and my wife and I take regular trips flying. We rented for a few years until I noticed not being able to fly because the planes were always booked at the flight schools and I wasn't working on any instruction I just wanted to take longer trips (overnight or a few days). This drove me to look at ownership and really define my mission realizing the Mooney was the way for me. I bought my plane in Jan 2021 and it has been amazing the doors it has opened for us. I wouldn't trade it for anything (well maybe an upgraded Mooney).
