  1. Planing to install a GFC 500 autopilot on a M20J with dual G5 and removing my vacuum system. My bendix king KAP 150 is working excellent with no issue! I’ve electric trim and the KAP 150 does a great job in turbulence. I was told to install a yaw damper with GFC 500 as it can handle better in turbulence air! Any input on this greatly appreciate it. 2. Thank you. Got it. I need URHM38S for my M20J with Lyco IO-360-A3B6D Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Sandman993, would you share the link. Thank you
  4. Thank you. Mainly I want to change it for performance. I don’t have any oil burning issue or other problems with the engine. I was considering Gami for better LOP, and one of my friend said to first start with Fine Wire Plug for better performance and LOP operation. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. @ArtVandelay. Thanks. I heard on density altitude 6K+, fine wire sparks plug they perform much better power.
  6. Hello folks. I'm debating to purchase a TEMPEST IRIDIUM FINE WIRE SPARK PLUG UREM38S to install on a 1983 Mooney M20J. I heard lots of good things but my mechanic said its just waist of money. My folks that i know they had them installed they are very happy with the performance and the fact you'll be able to do LOP better with them. I do not have a Gami Injectors. Please share your thoughts and your experience if you had them. Thank you
  7. Hello, I’m new to Mooney and I’ve been flying M20J for almost 30+ hrs. There is a connivery that I like to know and I’m sure everyone has there own opinion on this. During clime you’re at full manifold pressure and RPM. Lots of instructors and other pilots saying once you’ve reached 1500AGL the manifold pressure and the RPM should be 25/25 during the clime. Even though they state this method put less stress on the engine, you obviously cutting power to reach your desire altitude and has a impact on your Vertical Clime Rate. POH and many other folks they clime with full High RPM and Manifold pressure till they reach to their desire altitude then they adjust. I would like to know you’re thoughts and which is the safest method so I can adapt. Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. @M20FanJesse @MrRodgers @Simon Thank you so much guys. Greatly appreciate it. I'll be there at 9AM
  9. @Simon thank you so much. I know where that is. i'm about 200lb and i dont want to impose on anybody for the ride but if there is a room i would love to join my first Mooney gathering

  14. Thank you for your reply. I’m not in a rush for purchase. And I’m a cash buyer. I usually come to Henderson Airport few times a year. Please update me about your Mooney J, I’m interested. My email address is n36187 at gmail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. My fist time being on Mooney Space. Apparently this community is super large and everyone has something good to contribute. I’m glad I started this topic and everyone asking my questions. Thank you All! Shawn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Yes, everything cost much more in CA. How much is you annual on average on your Mooney J? And at what state you’re located? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Sound like the J is much better investment than the F and cost less to maintain! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Thank you for your knowledge, did you explain to me the difference between the F and the J beside of the aerodynamic. They both are 4 cylinder and produce 200 horse. Are the maintenance any different? And operation cost? Or it has to do with ADs? Thank you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Thank you so much for your reply.I’m not in a rush to purchase something right away but definitely by end of this year god willing. I want to be at or below 75K I find the older model especially the 1977 J model has a better useful load than the older ones. I don’t know the specific reason I usually come to Vegas most of the time, mostly Henderson KHND. Keep me in the loop about your J. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Eric, the engine and prop has a high time. And the tanks never been sealed. For what they asking the price is high. Everyday I’m on Controller, ASO, Trade-A-Plane, Branstormers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I better stick to the J model. Any thoughts on the first year production 1977 vs 1978 and up? Some Folks find the first year less demanding? Does it have to do with the aerodynamic portion or just the way the throttle /mixture is set? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Hello, I’m a private pilot and I currently own a Piper Warrior II. At this point of my life, i would like upgrade to a faster and more efficient airplane. And I know the M20J is by far a great choice! I’m based in Los Angeles CA and I fly out of Van Nuys Airport KVNY. I never sat on a M20J before. I would like to know if anybody with in the vicinity can offer me few ride for compensation of fuel so I can learn more about the airplane and performance! And if you happen to know anyone trying to sell their Mooney M20J please forward me the details as I’m very interested regardless if you’re in a different states. Thank you all, Shawn Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. Thanks a lot. I would rather have a IA do the pre buy inspection and not A&P so they can look at all the logs as well.
