1966 M20E Super 21 Ground Up Remodel

This is why I've adopted the policy of asking permission from the owner before posting on a forum. Even if there's risk for criticism, its worth it, as long as its allowed. Eyeballs are eyeballs. I was notified someone saw my ad on wingswap from this forum, and they are contacting the owner to come take a look at it today. The power of WingSwap Carusoam, I am a "social media" friend with Jessica. She's a professional aviation photographer and I've followed her work for a while. I will ask her the back story on the plane and get back to you guys! Bob I saw your Mooney at Oshkosh and was blown away! Truly is spectacular. Tom, I would be honored to help you sell that beauty! Featured listing is on me! -

I offered a trade for WingSwap. Deal of the century for them, but surprisingly they turned it down! Their loss! -
My friend Jessica just listed this 1966 M20E Super 21 for sale on WingSwap, and I just had to share it with you all. You'll have to read the description for whats all included, but its as if Mooney rolled out a brand new M20E in 2018! If you think of it like that, the asking price of 135k is a bargain. Just lowered too. Full LED, Garmin G500 EFIS equipped instrument panel paired with a Garmin GTN750 GPS/NAV/COM and GMA35 remote audio panel. All cylinders overhauled in 2017. https://wingswap.com/listing/10559

I've started a Business! Its called WingSwap

Very cool! Yeah my presence on instagram is probably the most prominent for the site. There are tiers of payment options for the type of listing you choose (Free, Premium, and Featured) For the first two months I gave away most options for free to drive traffic initially, and recently started charging for Premium and Featured listings (still less expensive than any other site). You can see each option on our new pricing page here (added yesterday): https://www.wingswap.com/page/pricing Eventually I will run ads on the site as well, but for now I will hold off Partnership talks are also happening, but I've yet to make a decision on if I want to go that route yet. -

Just wanted to say it was awesome meeting everyone at Oshkosh, and if I was unable to meet you, hopefully I can at the next mooney meet up if its anywhere along the western US! Oshkosh proved to be very fruitful, and I'm happy WingSwap was able to make it. A little bit of info about the company I'm happy to report, only been open three months but every month I've doubled in traffic! Wanted to thank you all for the support! Jesse -
Better for night vision! No lights required!
-
I bet its probably a C90. Not sure why he didn't include that! and wow thats insane! How many engines did you go through?
-
Yup! Right under the name of the Ad will always be the airframe time and engine time. AFTT: 2226, SMOH: 437 I thought that too! But no, its a two seater. I wonder how it compares to an ercoupe
-
I knew about the Mooney Mite but honestly didn't know this existed. Does anyone have any experience flying one? https://www.wingswap.com/listing/10220
-
Did they only come standard on some models?
-
This seems like a decent deal on a 20J, I thought I'd let you guys know about it! https://www.wingswap.com/listing/10209 It either has 400 hours on the engine, or 1400. You'll have to ask the owner what he means by the two engine times listed. Maybe top overhauled 400hrs ago.

Yeah Mike Patey taxied around in his Turbulence (aka Turbine Lancair Legacy) where the prop is only a few inches from the ground and he did fine in the grass.

Thank you! That would be awesome. I'd definitely promote a Rocket on the wingswap social media channels! Yes! Trent is a fantastic guy. We've been friends online for a long while. I've been watching his videos forever and when I started this I knew I wanted to sponsor his videos because you are right, they are seriously amazing, and right in line with my target audience. I was beyond pleased with how good that shout out was, and it seems to be the best way to get traffic to the site so far, so I think we'll be collaborating more in the future! -
It seems someone saw my ad and said "I should buy that". For only posting two ads to forums, 50% success rate seems pretty worth it. I'll be requesting approval from the owners before posting. And as long as the administrators/mods of Mooneyspace don't mind, and the vast majority don't mind, I'll try and post the best deals that I see for mooneys that pop up on the site. I certainly won't spam the site though.

Starting to sell planes! Now that website traffic is slowly picking up, more and more pilots are checking it out! How exciting. Just helped this guy sell his Bonanza, thanks to WingSwaps instagram! I'll be making the rounds at Oshkosh all week as well so hope to see you guys there!! -
As a new site sponsor, I'm trying to get WingSwap to become that "sales site" that people first go to when looking for a plane. Its true, chances are no one will immediately go out and purchase the plane I post about. But people who see the ad will remember the name WingSwap when wanting to sell their plane or buy a plane, tomorrow. Also this is the classifieds section of a Mooney forum. People are coming here to look for mooney's to buy. I just trying to market as un-intrusively as possible. If people don't want to see these mooneys that pop up on my site, I'll stop, I have no issue with that. Just trying to create a win-win-win situation haha
-
What I'll do is just ask the owners permission before posting on the forums
-
Should I refrain from mentioning the Mooney's that pop up for sale on WingSwap.com? I was about to show you guys another one (a really good deal. '67 with 201 windshield/cowl, new paint and interior for about $70k) that was just put up on the site, but now I'm not sure. I didn't think there would be a downside to more publicity for one's ad. Thoughts?
