I need to talk to the A/P directly to find out why 5 hours extra. I don't have the full story yet. What I was told was that the 430 that was installed in my plane (I just bought it in April) is missing some harness and it will take 5 hours to install that. My A/P has been very reliable and honest so I need to talk to him directly. Thanks for you information, you make some great points. Jim -

Air Mods in Robinsville, NJ is putting in a JPI 700 in my 77 201J. Should I interface the JPI fuel flow to the Garmin 430W? Any advantages to this, albeit, rudunancy since this will be in the JPI. It's about 4-5 hours extra labor to interface with the 430 since I'm missing some harness that is required. Any thoughts? Jim
