  1. This fit. Did use a drop of super glue to secure. After dry, functions normally.
  2. Appears this is the one. Mine is a 1992, and will have to measure to be sure. Thank you for the reply!
  3. Anyone know what the cap is called on top of the push to talk switch shaft? The cap that makes it more comfortable to press the switch. Also, where to purchase? Thanks!
  4. Exploring my options. Has anyone changed their KAP 150 to a KFC 150?
  5. Just heard from my support people who did some research. AeroCruze is not available. Oh well!
  6. Nav coupler in my KAP 150 has gone bad. I am wanting to replace it with the AeroCruze 230, but it is a replacement for the KFC 150, not KAP. My Mooney is a 1992 M20J with Garmin G500, GTN 750, GTN 650, GAD 43 for analog to KAP 150, and all other supporting hardware. I considered Garmin GFC 500, but you have to install a G5. I already have a MidContinent standby attitude indicator, so going the Garmin route will give me 3 attitude indicators on a very small panel, which I consider overkill and excessive clutter. By replacing with the AeroCruze 230, I use the existing location and keep my panel clean! Has anyone replaced their KAP 150 and can give me some input as to downtime and expense? All advice is appreciated.
  7. thanks, TeeJay
  8. TeeJay, would you give a description of your LED lights. I just replaced landing and taxi lights with LED and want to replace nav and strobes with LED, including wig wag. Also, who did the installation. Nice setup!
  9. I had both tanks resealed by Houston Tank Specialists last July. Carl Sharon possesses a real passion in doing the job right and I have not been disappointed. Carl kept me informed with progress, including pictures. He is an A&P and I had him perform my annual during reseal process. I highly recommend HTS.
  10. Sounds like a lot of you have made significant improvements to your panels. Please include pictures so the rest of us can salivate over them. I'm wanting to go all electric in my 1992 J model and would love to see what you fellows have done!
