  4. I'd like to upgrade my King KAP 150 to a Garmin GFC 500 and I'd like to have it done semi-locally (I'm based at KCMA). Can anyone recommend an avionics shop in SoCal? TIA, DJ N201LX
  5. I generated .stl files, 3D printed and am using Klixon caps. They could probably stand some further revision. The real trick, after getting them to "snap" on, is getting the embedded lettering for the switch label (e.g. STROBES, LDG LIGHT, etc.). I tried both raised and depressed labeling and ultimately went with depressed lettering that I painted. PM me an email address, I'll send you a zip file of the stl's.
  6. If you have a 3D printer try this... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5606744
  7. Thanks Skip, I ordered one of the Klixon caps from Shapeways, but what I'm really looking for is the 3D print file (fname.STL). I'll keep looking, DJ
  8. carusoam, thanks, I'll check out their MS homepage!
  9. No worries re the .stl files, understand the concern - nice piece of work! dj
  10. Nice! I already have the eyeball vents, are the adapters available. A 3D print .stl file would be great! dj dj

  13. I followed this link but didn't couldn't find any 3D print files (.stl). Are we talking about the same thing? I ordered 1 Klixon cover from Shapeways but I'd like to try printing them myself.
