Manual paints all Bell Helicopters south of the border.  not only control surfaces off for paint.  his shop looks like the entire airplane is hanging on wires.  and that is the paint booth for large planes.  the other is smaller.

I found a few of these servos still in the new package if anyone is as desperate4 as myself

does brittain still sell the step retract ones?

if anyone decides to do an E or F conversion I have a lower cowl already converted.  My 66E works great with no issues.

Found a man with a few new...old new still in original packaging. complete servos.  a couple for the retractable step.  he thinks they are gold but is open for offers\.  any idea what they are worth?  Does Brittain sell new ones?

slow progress.  tail and tail cone separated and both have all tubes and rod ends cleaned up and loosened up. starting on belly next. balance of plane still on the trailer as it is easier to get access to the bottom.  Won't strip or paint until all done then to Dominican Republic and Manual Mora who is the best in the business.  

Finally got 68Q home. Now the slow work starts.  Don't know which is more tired.  Trailer that was used so many years ago to move it or the plane. 

you are going to think it is never going to get turbo boost.  extra throttle goes wayyyy in before boosting.   

Michael, I am so sorry I wasted your time and expenses.  I will have him send it back and use it for a ferry hub.  Did he have one he would sell you?  I sold him 4 recently so he should have one.  jerry

they have had long enough to check it out  you may have to check with them.  I would rather you check so they don't think I am trying to influence them.   They are good people in all the dealings I have had with them.  especially as opposed to western propeller in Troutville Oregon.

if you cant find the original I would be happy to send you the 503 to use till you find one.  ask don if it will work even temporarily.  parts books says it will.  when you find the original just return mine  jerry pressley

Best to send to a large prop shop such Eastern Propeller or such.  Are you ready to install or???   I can send this week to them.  When shall I tell them you will be ready?
