Thanks... The HUD drops down from the overhead and I can turn on and off the EFVS from the left side of the yoke. It really helps going into low visibility airports.

You're right at the altitude where it starts to smell funky.

A G500 (or similar) with synthetic vision is next best thing to the HUD and you can have it in your Mooney now. Just add AMUs.

I agree with Jerry... the synthetic vision is pretty sweet! With the HUD swinging down ... it would diffidently not give me much room above my head. EFVS is great in the fact that is picks up the heat signature and you can see the difference between a hot runway and cold surroundings.... hot exhaust of aircraft moving around in dense fog. But having synthetic vision along with EFVS would be awesome!!
