Rustler Posted November 16, 2009 Report Posted November 16, 2009 sixsixX The 1980 J that I have owned since October '08 has the Century 41 in it, and it is a stellar performer. I drive it with a 430W and a Century GPSS and couldn't be happier with the system. It is smooth, flies a true course and doesn't require any re-sets after initializing. After installing the GPSS, we could not get a glideslope intercept and sent it to Century. Thety fixed it in a timely manner and charged me, I think, ~$200. The addition of the GPSS is one of the best things you can do if you want to fly regularly with the autopilot and make GPS approaches; Century makes one specifically for this autopilot. Quote
sixsixX Posted November 16, 2009 Author Report Posted November 16, 2009 Thanks for the info, and good to hear. Iam adding GPSS to it off the 530w and i agree its one of the best additions. Quote
