This hot number 1 has come up several times in the past.  If you cut 3/4 inch off the baffle infront on number 1 or make a new shorter one it will be your coolest cylinder.  I did it and several others did too.  My opinion is that it was put ther to keep it from running too cool.  On number 4 if you tweak the oil cooler baffling you might bring the CHTs down some.  Try to raise the baffle so that air can flow between th baffle and the top of the cylinder.

If original… they make new ones.

They’re likely the original material and need to install new to see if that makes a difference as well.  If you have a contact who supplies it, that would be greatly appreciated!
