Cowling fit question

Just speaking of the cowling itself, but will a J model cowling physically fit on all previous models of Mooney's,  A through J's?

I can have all three cowl pieces (left & right cheeks, top) off of my 1970 C in about 3 minutes. What took so long to do yours? It's a few more minutes to open both sides of the doghouse.
