As the title says... any leads or suggestions appreciated! Repair or exchange. im fairly sure the engagement coil or the circuit that drives the coil are what is bad on mine.

Hello everyone! I have a Bendix King Av8or Ace handheld gps. The unit is in mint condition and comes with a spare battery, wall charger, case, the gps unit itself, and a few other things. The mount and car charger have unfortunately been misplaced along the way but I will continue looking for them. Charts need to be updated but that's as easy as going on the website and downloading them. If you're using this as a secondary nav tool to backup your pilotage and dead reckoning, this will be a great tool. If you want to fly IFR I'd recommend updating the data and charts. As stated before everything is in MINT condition. If you have any questions I'll gladly answer them. I'll let it go for $650 obo. This might have already been covered somewhere(sorry!)...Anyone have recommendations for a handheld as a solid comm/nav backup that can be used fairly easily during flight. Alkaline or rechargeable doesn't really matter. I'm finishing up my PPL in the next couple weeks and getting ready to start instrument training. I would much rather be safe than stuck squawking 7600 and looking for light gun signals from the tower. Thanks in advance!

Avionics shop finally confirmed my kma20 is toast. Anyone know where I can get an inexpensive replacement? is there anything that's a slide in replacement? also, it seems my beacon is toast, what's the best replacement?
