  1. Refurbished White Flush mount fuel cap. New o-rings and stainless cotter pin. New white paint on cap and polished bare metal tab. 2. I have a Shaw 457 fuel cap. Trying to replace the inner o-ring. Mine has a cap that I believe covers the nut to take this puppy apart. Can't find any instructions on disassembly. All the photos I've seen does not have this cover. Tried to pry it off but I'm afraid I'm going to break something. Picture attached. Thanks in advance!
  3. I've got a pair of Shaw Aero fuel caps, part #431-9R that seem to be in great condition. I bought them years ago for spares, only to discover they're not right for my J model. I re-discovered them while working in the hangar over the weekend and figured someone else here can use them. I believe they're correct for pre-J Mooneys. There is a "26" stamped on the face for the tank capacity. They are in nice shape, and the cam action feels very nice and tight. O-rings I'm sure are shot so the buyer will need new ones. I don't have a parts manual for the pre-J Mooneys so please check you part number if you're interested so you don't make the same mistake I did! I'd like $150 for the pair. A quick look on ebay showed some individual caps going for $95 each so hopefully this is fair.
