I need help. Recently I been having issues with my 530w losing satellite signals then reboots, However I also have a 430w that doesnt lose its signal at all. My 530 will reboot then resume working where it left off. This sucks when im on istruments so im looking to fix whatever needs fixing. Any ideas?

I recently had a pair of electric speedbrakes installed on my J model. Rick Parker who owns Parker aeronautics out of Robstown,TX near Corpus Christi installed mine. The cost for the install was fair and he knows Mooneys since he used to work at the factory.

Ive been having a similar problem with the Altitude hold in my 80 J with the KFC 200. My problem started occurring after I installed an Aspen two tube system. Im still trouble shooting, which includes several new EA-100 boxes, software updates etc. Let me know what Autopilot Central says, theyre my next stop..

Hello all of my Mooney drivers, im in the process of doing some body work on my J model. The other day when I looked at my plane I found that the small fins just aft of the wing strobe lens covers need to be replaced ( sorry for my ignorance about the proper name for them). Does anyone know what they are called as well as where I can pick up a pair?

I need Help! I went out to start my plane last Fri and as I turned on the Master I found that all my Engine gauges were dead. None of my CB's were popped. Is there a fuse somewhere that im missing? Any ideas?

The only difference between our situations is that I have a 2 tube Aspen system. The only AI that I have is for backup. Also, throughout my flights using altitude hold, it will bob for awhile then stop. The flight is then smooth for awhile then start again...I have been to the Avionics shop at least three times, looks like they will have to put a bed in their office because Ive spent too much money on this project already. I never had any problems before with my autopilot...

Its definitely noticable, but funny thing is it will stop after a while then start again. The avionics shop that did the install had the Aspen rep make adjustments but on my trip to Orlando, it still was there...

Ill let you know what I find out. This has been frustrating to say the least...

Im also looking at redoing the interior of my Mooney. Ive purchased all of the plastic pieces that wont make the redo, are there any other ideas as to the supplies ie.. paint etc that I might need in order to make this job somewhat easier. Im going to redo the seats next summer..
