  1. Yes, Kevin used to work for Brittain, building their turn coordinators. These are NOT diy fixit units, so get a professional to fix it. He can fix them but not provide a yellow tag. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  2. I need the torque valve body disassembly instructions book.referenced in the TC100 EVT Overhaul Manual. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  3. So...you then have a threaded receptacle, but a scthreaded screw still has the potential to come loose? Thanks
  4. Do you happen to have any pics of the rivnuts?
  5. I found the part online for $60. Thanks everyone. One salvage place wanted $275! WOW! Now I need to paint it. Mooney owners make sure you check the screws on this fairing as part of your walk around. One missing screw can cause the fairing to tear off.
  6. Buy or borrow a hand held radio to get you home?
  7. Where would I buy this type of aluminum? And did you mean borrow a drill press? Thanks Bob
  8. I need the part covering the tail cone gap. Bob
  9. Thanks for the honest report. So sorry for your pain and expense. I am in the process of making my Brittain system work in my F. You probably have saved others a great deal of trouble.
  10. Hi All, I'm refurbishing my Brittain autopilot and I discovered one of the rubber bellows for the rudder is completely torn up including the rim rubber. The can part is ok. Anyone out there have one they to sell or donate? The pic below shows what the (good) assembly looks like. All I need is a good rubber part. Thanks, Bob
  11. Try Wentworth or other salvage places for the screen. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  12. I switched radios yesterday and found that the MX170B NAV radio is not sending a signal to the CDI. The KX170B does properly light up the glideslope /CDI. So that is a good discovery. Thanks for your help since I didn't know the radios could be swapped. Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  13. Very helpful to know I can switch the radios to check the MX170B. I know the KX170B nav does work with a CDI. Do these navs only act as radios which transfer the signal to the CDI? Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
  14. How much for the brittain turn coordinator? Bob 67 m20F Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk
