  1. Hi, sorry about the troubles. I usually tire talc the inside of the tire, insert the tube into the tire with the valve stem facing the red dot side of the tire,  insert both wheel halves, put some air into the tube, start the tie bolts so they hold the wheels together, move the tube/tire to confirm that the tube is not pinched and then torque the tie bolts. Align the stem with the red dot and inflate the tube. I normally go to 40psi on the mains.

I made a basic install tool that allows me to run some all thread through the bearing hole and gets trapped with washers through some 2x4's. As I tighten the nuts on the all thread the wheel halves are drawn together making the tie bolt part of the job a breeze. Hope this helps. If not can I see some pics?

  2. Hi, I have a 1962 and am looking into speakers. Do you still have any? Thanks

      Yes I do.

Can you send me a pic of your speaker and I'll tell you if it is the same.

Mine has an auto speaker installed. I have the service letter to retrofit the mounts attached. Think yours will fit? Thanks

  3. I attached the wrong pix. The gold panel is complete on this one. Next year is interior.
  4. I have the same autopilot and went with 2 axis with manual pitch trim. I have the original 1962 M20C yokes that I had powder coated so wanted to keep as oem as possible. I also went with the smaller diameter flat ended tubes. I replaced both in case I want to add the other servo on the bracket later. My S/N is 2242. Sounds like we both had the same problem but mine was on a 1962.
  5. Hi Gary, can I see both yokes and both sides of the side panels? Thanks Dave Otto - Dotto
  6. Hi all. I found straight stemmed inner tubes on my new to me 1962 M20C. I saw that others had questions on stem angles prior to me replacing mine so I attached the photos of the straight and 70* stems.
