  1. Engine is complete, now hooking up sensors to it. Instrument panel is cut and coming in on Tuesday. Guy that cut it for me was beyond cheap and extremely easy to work with. Once I confirm fit I’ll share contact info if you guys need help with your panel.
  2. Yes that’s the lights we decided to go with. Most likely the 600 series tho but we can’t sink another 1k with all the other projects we doing just need a cheap replacement to buy me time
  3. Yeah and they pricing them line brand new hot off the production line
  4. Should be fine as long as it worked before. My power pack died when I did skyBeacon so I didn’t bother and just needing temporary replacement. How much you asking? Thanks
  5. Yeah! That’s the exact same thing I had before and right by the inspection panel
  6. Need a cheap working red nav with strobe and power pack. Will upgrade to LED lighting down the road just need one now to get me thru.
  7. Pulled out so much old wire! To say scat tubing needed replacement is an understatement, Mose nose is full of it. Spent hours cleaning the engine and firewall, was awful, years of grime. He put in the avionics as mock up just to show me the light at the end of the tunnel. Wiring harness for transponder is done and was extremely easy, especially with Garmin’s altitude encoder. Hope audio panel goes the same way. Here’s some pics. Anybody got advice on how to paint the aluminum instrument panel? I want to do flat black.
  8. I hired a voice actor to do the audio files for the MVP-50P voice annunciator files. You may download and use it for your own just chop the pieces you need. Not for re-sale. Zipped folder is already chopped down to 8-bit WAV files, I think you can go up as much as 22KHz for better sound quality. Voice.mp3 Annunciator Files.zip
  9. Oh that nav-com and transponder begging for upgrade!
  10. Yeah: new Garmin sl30 navcom (not being installed) newish Garmin xponder king kma 20 audio panel kt76 transponder flightcom 403 intercom with soft tone mooney engine gauge cluster-the small six pack fuel pressure/manifold gauge voltmeter shunt electronics international EGT with probe electronics international FP-5 Fuel flow with totalizer and fuel metering block and oil temp module rpm gauge
  11. It’s either spend twice the money on Mooney you want or save up and put in the work. Been saving up and planning since June last year and already got next two projects in planning stage for next year. If you plan and prepare it hurts less when you aren’t flying.
  12. Old stuff pulled out, I have an almost brand new Garmin 327 transponder with bracket and harness and brand new Garmin SL30 nav com radio too.
  13. Yea this plane is a keeper for me so all the upgrades little by little. Yes would like to sell all of the stuff pulled out.
  14. I set aside entire February for everything to be completed. We were ahead of schedule but I added install of audio panel. Rest of annual has to be done and some sealing of tanks so I still think last day of Feb.
  15. Engine repairs and annual on it is complete. Installed Reiff cylinder and oil pre-heaters, 600 watt. They can start hooking up probes now.
  16. It's gold to remind you how much money you dumped into it! These are E.I. modules included with the MVP-50P that take analog inputs and send them to the engine data module. 3 boxes, 1 for Altitude, 1 for Manifold and 1 for Vacuum lo/hi. Will be mounted on a bracket behind the instrument panel, that's why they on their own custom mounting tray.
  17. -New seals and jugs are on. Fuel pump removed. -Interior duct hoses in horrible shape. Ordered new ones. -Magician MVP guy created mounting plates for modules
  18. The way we were doing the install is with rubber shock mounts which are straight thru the panel and then nut. That's the only option I saw using the shock mounts.
  19. Hmmmm...depends on the rest of the crew:) Either indie or something chillax...what about you?
  20. It sure does look way better than the old WW1 switches I got now. Number one reason for me is music, we love listening to music and calms everybody down and my old input was horrible plus eliminates the intercom too.
  21. Oh well if that's the case I should have been done weeks ago!!
  22. Test panel went in like a glove it was a perfect match. Still going to do Lexan one just to be 100% sure then 090 aluminum. Guys did the wiring loom last night they should start installs today and getting jugs back on. While we at it we decided to do my audio panel too, installing Garmin GMA 340. This isn’t neck deep, this is Mariana Trench deep now.
