  1. Hello, new owner here. Is the rudder trim on the panel tied to the KAP 150, or is that ran independently? Asking because I’m looking to upgrade my autopilot.
  2. 900’s was installed 50 hours ago. I opened up the cowling. The original individual JPI probe is at the inlet of the turbo. (The one running 1600) The new one on the 900 is back to the right where it looks like it was designed to be installed at..
  3. I am having the opposite experience based on FF. Stand Alone JPI TIT reads 1600 when my JPI 900 TIT reads 1500. Fuel flow is 3 gallons per hour high (based on peak TIT) so I’m guessing I’m about 2 gallons high for running at 1600 on the hotter TIT.
  4. To add to it all, I am going to install Duel Garmin I275’s so I will be pulling all the old king stuff and the vacuum system. Question is if I install a KCP vs my KAP will that add altitude pre select to the whole operation
  5. With what you listed above, does the KAP150 need anything else do drive a preselected altitude from the GI275 or will the 275 do that when selecting altitudes on its own?
  6. Hello, I am new into the Bravo and am wondering if I can remove the vacuum system. I am installing dual G5’s soon. That is when I would remove. It has JPI 900 and Garmin 650 and KAP150. After swapping for the G5’s I don’t know of what else needs the vacuum system. Am I missing something? What is everyone’s experience removing the system?
  7. Yes, you are correct. It’s a B&C. we checked the alternator and it was fine. Believe we violated it to somewhere between the battery and the breaker. With everything off, and when I turn on the master that is when it pops.. We removed all wires from that regulator one at a time and it kept popping we removed them all and isolated the regulator and it still popped. No new equipment installed. replaced breaker still pops. we disconnected everything around the battery and cleaned all of the terminals and reconnected everything. Still no luck. prior to it completely failing it would pop and I would be able to push it back in and it would all go back to normal. I did this for two flights of three hours total time now, when it pops, I can push it back in, but it will not stay engaged.
  8. New wrinkle. I can get the breaker to reset. But when I add any throttle it pops. Any specific ideas. Different than the above?
  9. Yes, volts go from 14.2ish to 12.2ish while in cruise.
  10. Hello, Over my last flight I had my ALT LOW VOLTS Fuse that is in my battery bus section. I pushed it back in and all was good. It did it another time close my home airport, pushed it in again and all was good. I am at the airplane to see if I can figure it out and am having no luck. When all power is off I can push it in and it stays, but if I turn the battery master it pops and will not go back in. It’s a 2 breaker. I have a 2 year old new alt. When in flight it produces 14.2 volts regularly. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  11. Understand this is a long shot but looking for a used turbo kit with documents for M20F. If you have one let me know.
  12. I am having the same problem. was using a quart every 5-6 hours. This weekend used 1.5 for a 3.5 hour flight and had cleaned a spot on belly prior to flight and it was covered back up. I had a cooler than #2 cylinder in the summer. Took it in machanic could not find anything. Suspected rings lined up. I asked because I was seeing more oil than normal on the ground after a flight. Oil my have went from 1qt every 6hr to 1 every 5ish. But now this is totally different. Have not had a chance to look at the plugs.(what is the torque spec for the spark plug after inspection?) CHT’s were normal during flight. Also something unrelated or could be related. About every few minutes I was getting a slight drop in RPMs like a slight reve down from 2475 to 2425 and then right back up to 2475. Have not had that happen before. It was consistent during the flight. Had a head wind of about 15-20 and then a tail wind of about 15-20.
  13. Hello, I have looked everywhere for any information about sun visors for my model with no luck. Does anyone have any info? Or what does everyone use to solve the problem if there is no part number?
  14. Hello all, I will be in Carson City/Reno area December 1-4. I was wondering if anyone had or knew of some hanger space for those days to keep out of the cold.
