  1. Whose make of led is that?
  2. That is a great idea. Thanks.
  3. I sent an e-mail to them inquiring about the 75 watt "special request only" I'm interested in what they say. I like your idea about getting a 337 approved. My airport has lots of deer that I have dodged in the past. I don't know why the FAA would object to improving safety by improving forward vision on landing? But I quess I will find out.
  4. The LEDs my A&P showed me on a twin at his shop had a bluish tint to them. That's not what I am looking for. I have HID lamps on my Corvette that are bright white but are completely illegal. They turn night into day and burn the retinas out of anyone coming the other way. That's kind of what I am looking for. Thanks
  5. I am looking at upgrading my taxi and landing lights for my 1995 Ovation. I am looking at the 50 watt XV-36-SL and XV-36-ST from http://www.xevision.com/hid_aircraft_kits.html#conversionkits. Does anyone have any experience with these lamps or have any better ideas? I thought I might have wanted to go with LEDs but I want a bright white light not blue. I am relatively new to this list and appreciate any advice. Norm N995K
  6. A moderate fast cruise without punishing the engine.
  7. I'd like to ask those of you who are running with the same thing What rpm and power settings do you favor cruising at? I just completed upgrading my 1995 Ovation with a factory new 310 HP IO550-N and a new Hartzel Scimitar propeller and am still breaking it in. Norm N995K
  8. I just went on line and ordered one also. I couldn't help it after seeing this post the price for that is so cheap.
  9. I upgraded to the 310 hp 550-N which caused me to replace blades. I am looking to sell the original blade pictured below. It is off my 1995 Ovation N995K serial number 40. The spinner included. It was working fine when removed. Blade Model G-82NRC-9, Hub Serial 942165, Blade Serial Numbers OK127,OK142,OK143. With Slinger for Known Ice. log book included, No damage history, Normal wear 2295 hours since new.
