  1. Pacific. Paid $500 + shipping. IO 360.
  2. Anyone had any recent experience with Dugosh in Kerrville? Used them back in the day, but not for a long time. Thanks
  3. Need to replace main door seal. Aircraft Spruce sells one for $93. Anyone had any experience with A-S door seal? Thanks
  4. Find another shop and get an overhaul. Had a similar situation on my last Mooney and regretted doing an IRAN vs overhaul for almost the next 20 years. That is way too much money for that engine.
  5. Thank you. Bought my plane from there. Just looking for confirmation. R
  6. Looking for the most competent shop for an Mooney M20J annual inspection in Texas. Thanks,
  7. On my J, there are two fuses under the dimmer. They are incredibly expensive, if I am shopping for the correct fuse, at $479 for ten. Ours blew the fuse when it was replaced, so no dash lights. Anyone else had a problem with these fuses? Thanks N9930S
  8. This thing goes on the wingtip inside the clear plastic lens (see pictures) and is called a Retainer. Was purchased for a 1982 M20J and not needed. Retail price is over $200 plus shipping. For sale for $150.00 with free shipping. If you haven't looked at your retainers in a while, yours have probably suffer the effects of aging.
  9. I still have it. I haven't used it since it was removed in February for a panel upgrade, but it was working beautifully to that point. I went through several KNS 80's in my old Mooney and none worked very well. This unit locked right on to VOR, ILS, and DME every time. Ironic in that it was destined for removal. Rich 817 874 7866
  10. Came from Mooney M20J and was working when removed for upgrade. Free shipping. $750.00.
  11. KNS 80 out of our 1982 M20J. Not pretty, but worked right up to Jan 2023 when removed by an avionics shop for panel upgrade. Has tray and connector. Can ship with or without tray. $100 plus shipping.
  12. GTX330.pdfGTX330log.pdfGTX330log.pdfGTX330.pdfThe Garmin GTX 330 ES transponder was removed in Jan 2023 from the panel of an M20J by an avionics shop in Breckenridge, Texas and was in good working order when removed. This item includes the tray as pictured. Logbook page denotes that the GTX 330 was ungraded to ES status by Garmin August 2018. $1850 with free shipping in the Domestic US.
  13. Thank you. Good idea. Mr. Maxwell made the same suggestion.
