George, This IS a private program, not one run by an OEM. All Garmin trade-ins are resold by our company directly to fleets, flight schools, and private customers. Lastly, our company offers the rebate, as the Avidyne unit is a slide-in replacement for the Garmin box.

Yes this box can do exactly that. In fact, I just sold an ATX100 to a BeechTalk customer who will be pairing this with their Evolution 2000 with a $0 ADS-B unlock. There's no cheaper way to get "in" presently. Just turn off all the "out" functionality and the installation is even more simplified.
