  1. Think I will start taking picture sideways and they will post normal. [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Yea. Showing my lack of computer skills. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. First flight since new cylinders.
  4. D you know what your fuel flow was? Had something similar and it was the fuel flow divider the diaphragm had a cut in it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Looking at replacing my OEM air filter on my 67 m20f. I want to go with Donaldson air filter is any one using them. I'm looking for a part number and do you need a conversion kit.
  6. My POH does not show sea level it starts at 2500 and MP is 27.5 I'm getting a little less than 27 on take off at 224 msl. Do any other models show a higher MP in there POH? I have OEM air filter thinking of changing it out that may help a little does anyone have suggestions on air filters?
  7. My field elevation is 224 msl. Is your plane an F model?
  8. I hate to say it but I never look when it's off. It should be 29.92 minus field elevation ? But do the m20f have a lower MP because of a smaller intake and does ram air make up for it?
  9. Not sure. But I have the factory style gage and jpi 830 and they have been reading the same. Getting plane back tomorrow.
  10. Why does m20f only have 26-27 " manifold pressure? I was told this is " normal " for this model.
  11. Thanks again for everyone's replies I have talked to mech and he has flown it today for a couple of hours and according to him the cht's never got close to red line and in the past I was having to fly with cowl flaps open. As mentioned three months ago I replaced four cylinders and fuel servo. temps were always high red line on climb out (3&4). After cooking 3&4 three weeks ago. Replaced cylinders 3&4 and fuel flow divider fuel injectors and lines everything looks better than it has sense having cylinder replaced first time. Probably had bad fuel flow divider from the start. I've ordered new baffles that I think will help also. So hopeful this will get her air worthy for a while and I can recover financially [emoji33]. My annual is due in march and I would like to have mooney guy look at it. Oh and going to have mech. Clean up jpi installation. I will post new jpi data when I get it back. 12. Thanks Yetti I would like to have the jpi installed properly and while I like doing things myself I don't think I have any more knowledge than the mech. That installed it. Having mooneyspace has been very helpful but at this point I think I need to find a Mooney mechanic that can go over it and give me a punch list of things that need to be done I feel like it's never going to end at this rate. 13. To move fuel sensor to left side will require a new fuel line I'm guessing so that may need to be done by mech. Familiar with jpi. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Wow thanks a lot of useful info. Talked with Guy with Geebee per some of you guys and he was very helpful I have new baffles on the way. Yes I am running mineral oil now and mech. Kept telling me that was cause of high temps plus new cylinders. The picture of the jpi is with four new cylinders. I have not flown with the new two rear cylinder yet. Had only about 10 hours on others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Yes the 700 came from a bad spider and teflon on the fittings. I will try and post data from jpi. Yes cruise temps can be ok put must of the time I have cowl flaps open. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. 1st mech. Installed new jpi last year ( of course it's wrong) don't want to mention names. Any advice on correcting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. So are these baffles installed wrong? I am ordering new ones today. Does anybody have pictures of correctly installed baffles?
  18. Good question not sure I trust my current mech. Maybe someone here can advice. I think I will also check with engine shop where I got them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. [emoji35] thanks. I am looking at geebee now for new baffles. I think I will take pictures of ever part of my plane so you guys can have a field day. Could not imagine owning a plane with out such an awesome resource. Does anybody have a recommendation for a good mooney mechanic close to Prattville al. (1A9). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I am one my second mechanic now and I feel like I know more than they do and that's not good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Thanks everyone for you very helpful input i will defiantly replace baffles. I am mechanically inclined but don't know anything about airplanes let alone a mooney and I have had to learn a lot the hard way. Does any body have a mechanic the could recommend close to 1A9 Prattville al. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. Thanks Clarence I will do that. It's nice to have advice from guys that know about money's if feel like when it comes maintenance I am " behind the plane " so to speak. Everything is done after the fact. Have you heard of having to add sheet-metal baffles? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
