  1. Well I suppose we have reached a head. I just thought it was very ironic you were talking down the 20C in CA much like you owned the holy grail. Alan, instead of trying to sell us on how great your plane is.. you should probably just start taking it apart. I don't even know you, and I wouldn't buy your plane for $5, because you have no humility. These gentleman, as well as myself have stated mere facts about the condition of your plane, and you refuse to accept the truth. Like I told you before, any man who pays you $35k for that thing is a fool.
  2. Oh and for the cardinal sin of Mooney ownership....it sat outside :-(
  3. Engine was OH in 91, installed in 2001. (I may be a year or two off with those years, but you get the idea). Prop has the 100 AD. Panel is still shotgun. Cowl Mod looks like it was installed in the last few years (some 2012 photos I found of it showed it unpainted). However, if you look closely there is a lip between the spinner and the cowl deck. It didn't look right to me so I fwded to swta. They said it was either the engine mounts sagging or the install was shotty as they had no record of doing it. I'm not sure which way to lean on that considering the screws aren't even near the front of the cowl. I put a value on the plane of about $30k(even learning to the low side of that number) but Alan will not take $1 less than $35, so my search continues...
  4. If I have an E by then that doesn't have a mod, you can count me in for #4
  5. This plane is currently for sale for $68,000.....
  6. Alan, I'd be happy to buy your airplane... I have an agent who will come look at it... but that was never the hold up...
  7. I'm shopping for an E/F and just got an email stating that SWTA is out of the mod business... it also looks like ARI is done. Are my only cowling options for a mid-'60's Mooney the Lasar ($ 2000)or LoPresti($20000)??
  8. Tony here. I'm a E/A-18G pilot in the Navy with about 1000 military and Commercial MEL/SEL and CFI-I with about 400 hours in a 1961 M20C. I'm currently in the market for a '66/'67 M20E/F, but I'm open to the right deal coming around on just about anything.
  9. Check PM looking for one like yours....
