I agree - just paint what needs attention -

we have uncovered at least three layers of paint on mine - so it was time for mine to be completely stripped.  At some time in my Mooney's life it was brown w/lavender or black stripes, copper/bronze with white stripes and green with white stripes.  Way too many layers.  You could easily strip the tops of the wings and repaint.

Very cool, keep the updates coming. My paint is in similar condition. Especially after a few years in the Vegas sun.

What are you using to strip the paint?
