Hey guys

Some of the beaches out here on the west coast are very popular places to land a plane on. The sand just as the tide goes out is like landing on a concrete surface and very very smooth. You just approach with a soft field technique and all is well. The few popular beaches around here have had glasairs lancairs etc use them as well. I would say even an ovation or acclaim would have no problems landing or taking off. Your at sea level with about 8000 feet of usable surface. This was taken at Vargas island near tofino on the west coast of Vancouver island. About a 50 min mooney ride from seattle

It looks like a blast and I'd really be tempted. The thing about those hard packed sandy beaches is, they next to salt water. Really hard on aluminum. Maybe take your Cirrus to the beach instead. Or better yet hitch a ride with Angelina!
