I also just bought a '66E model Two similar topics at the same time... My name is Olivier Rouchard from France and I also purchased a '66E model with a few mods. I've been flying for the past two months with it, putting on 82 hours in 8 weeks (and just starting). She certainly doesn't feel like a 47 years old lady. You know how it feels to fly one of these fabulous E model... Here are a few modifications: JPI EDM-700 Engine Monitor Arnav FC-10 Digital Fuel Flow Precise Flight Standby Vacuum System 1” suction gauge Whelen Wing tip strobes Sky Tec light weight starter Monroy Long Range Fuel Tanks (86 gals) Lasar modified nose gear truss GAMI Fuel Injectors Shoulder belts Cowl Closure Fairing from Lake Aero Styling Windshield Mod (201 type one piece windshield) Lake Aero Styling aileron lower gap seals John A. Porter wing root fairings Lake Aero Styling hinge covers on elevator and rudder assembly John A. Porter flap gap fairings, flap hinge fairings and fuselage fairing at the tail cone Landing Light Flush Cover Oxygen System Kit (Mountain High), KF-115 cylinder (3257 Liters / 863 USG), 2 EDS-D1 Electronic oxygen delivery system computer, yields 211 hours at 18,000 ft. Air/Oil-separator: You can fill 8 qts.(better for the engine) without throwing out oil and without greasy belly Digital Outside Air Temperature Gauge and on, and on... She certainly is different than my daily Airbus 320 and this is what makes her so charming to fly. I take it back; in reality she is not that different from my airliner ;-) Here are a few pictures and I hope to enjoy this bird for a very long time.
