Thanks for the feedback. I'll consider whether I stick with the portable unit in the plane or go ahead and install a G340 or a PS Engineering 8000BT. I currently have the Garmin 340 unit in my Cherokee. I guess that I don't like the idea of the clutter in the cockpit associated with the portable unit. Any comments on the G340 vs. the PS Engineering unit?
I'll post a pic or two once I complete the deal later this month. My mission takes me 600 nm cross country 2x per month so I'm very excited to move up to the 201 from my Cherokee.
