  1. I have 2 of them and know of a third one.
  2. Type Certificate Data Sheet as found on the FAA website will spell it out nicely. I have a spare if needed.
  3. Have had this project for 3 years and made more progress in the last week than previous 150 weeks, is on the edge of my talent level. John B did you have a new skin on the left side? My intent is to go back with a new skin on the left same distance as the rt side. Feel free to share thoughts, pictures before too late.

  5. Has been a long time since this post updated. Have bought cowl flanges from a broken 201 along with some side skin and finally have the bulb bright enough to do some good. Image as of today, need some more camloks and a straight engine mount to fit it for good.
  6. Can you clarify how much you did not want to spend? I have some props and your blades are of interest to me.

  8. That plane looks Way better than my two Mooney projects, i can only wish for a sorry looking pitot tube. You can get a real good feeling ( or bad ) just by lifting up the rear seat, look at lower spar area as it goes into the tank area. Also look inside the bottom wing panel towards the rear spar for rear spar problems. That plane has clearly been taken care of and certainly worth a first look on your own.
  9. Was looking for some insight, pictures and how to avoid mistakes from anAscendancy. Scott did you end up with the 201 in Oshkosh?
  10. I have a 66 E that has been languishing in the shop for 2.5 years now, came with a 201 cowl and the mod started. Recently bought some flanges and forward skins off a broken 201 and has merely created a different set of question marks. If you have any progress, pictures or knowhow on this process i would delight in sharing.
