  1. Yes, It came with fixed landing gear from Mooney and (the way I heard) for $1000 you can have the mechanical retractable landing gear installed. It has a 'Johnson' bar between the seats. It is a M20D. Ron
  2. Quote: richardheitzman I have seen and flown this plane. Strong engine, flys hands off, no corrosion that I could see. I am sending this to a friend of mine who should be very interested. Ron took me on a "Golden Gate Bay tour" when I was at his location. We flew up and had "$100" tacos, best I have ever had, then we flew down to the Bay and Ron got us clearance to fly around Alcatraz, over the bridge at 1500 feet, and then back up the coast. It was a fantastic flight. Ron never touched the controls, and to me the aircraft flew great.
  3. The logbooks are at the airport and I'll be there tomorrow, but I think the engine was overhauled in the late 80's. We had the engine driven fuel pump replaced recently. Just replaced the airspeed indicator and resealed the left fuel tank. The Carpet is being replaced right now. We use camgauard and the compression readings are good. The engine also has a oil/vapor separator. The propeller was just balanced two months ago. All AD's C/W. Sweet airplane. Ron
  4. N6607U S/N 102 TTAF: 3642.35 TSMO: 364.55 Annual completed 7-2012 IFR current. Gear up landing 1968. Same owner same airport since 1968. Always hangared. Mostly serviced by Mooney dealer. Based in KSTS Santa Rosa Ca. I've been flying the airplane last two years and I will miss it dearly. It was inherited by my best friend who's dad recently past away, he does not fly it enough and asked me to sell it for him. Many speed mods. Paint is not new but is in very good shape. Interior shows wear but everything works. Panel is basic, has a King 135A GPS not current. No corrosion. Very well maintained and loved. Flys fast and true 150+MPH @10 GPH. $28,000
  5. Hello JR. I have a 63 M20D. While flying around two flights ago, during level flight, I noticed the fuel pressure gauge dropping to just above zero and the needle started to shake. I did not wait for the engine to quit and turned on the boost pump, the pressure came up and when I turned off the boost pump, the pressure stayed up. It happened one more time during that flight. When I landed I checked the vents and sumped the drains again. On my next flight it happened again, except when I turned the boost pump off, the pressure dropped to zero right away. I have been watching your previous posts and followed your test today. The fuel pressure dropped to zero right away. The fuel pump is buried behind the engine and is difficult to access. I'm going over now to remove the top cowling to see if I can get to the pump from the top. I'll let you know what I find. Thank-you!

  7. The revised asking price is $55,000 as requested by owners
  8. Woops, Got the asking price wrong. $58,000 is the asking price. Lake Aero Styling And Repair (Mooney) has a listing for it at that price. It might be listed in Trade-a-Plane also. Gotta start somewhere.
  9. The airplane is a 67 M20F N6362Q S/N 670445. I just met these folks at the airshow here at KSTS Sonoma-County Charles Schultz Airport. Their battery needed charging and they asked me to help. It has 4192 hours and is maintained by Mooney Service Center Lake Aero Styling in near by Lampson Field In Clearlake Ca. Due to health reasons they are selling the airplane. Very nice older couple who love this bird. The panel is very basic. IFR, no GPS. They are asking $65,000 but are willing to negotiate.
  10. No, this airplane is for sale by an elderly couple. The husband has some health issues and the wife is not used to downloading images from her camera. I work at Sonoma Jet Center in Santa Rosa CA and fly a 63 Mooney Master and suggested she list the airplane here. I will download some photos later tonight along with some data.
