As of yesterday, I am the new caretaker of a 1966 M20C, N2652W. Flew it home with the previous owner and am quite impressed. I've been flying a Husky for the last few years and have never flown a Mooney before yesterday. Looking forward to flying off the hours required for insurance and then set out on some adventures.

Hi Guys, I'm going to be a Mooney owner this next week and I have a business manufacturing FAA-PMA parts. During my prebuy inspection I learned of some pricey parts that are also hard to come by used. One of the items is the battery box. I'm thinking of producing these new as a PMA replacement. As Mooney owners, I'd appreciate your thoughts and input on any other part you like to see manufactured and why or why not. The Mooney would be a new market for me as most of my current work is in corporate aviation jet parts and tooling. Thank you, David

Is there an STC or Mod to change the early Mooney square air intake for the carb to a flush mount like to IO models? Thanks,
