  1. I'm jealous! Whenever a bunch of Brazilians get together, one is bound to find FUN! I grew up in Ecuador, next door... AMO Brasil! As far as a place to stay, check this place out: https://fly-inn.com/listing/private-room-with-bathroom-3-miles-from-sunnfun/ We are at Sun N Fun every year, too. We exhibit there. Come by our booth and say hello! Look for FLY-INN in hangar A, right down the center aisle. You can't miss us because we are the most packed booth there! Go to fly-inn.com to check out our logo, and then swing by! – Carollyne
  2. By the way, Fly-Inn.com is like Airbnb but exclusively for pilots. You get accommodations, a runway, a way to secure your aircraft, and ground transportation is facilitated upon landing!
  3. Another GREAT resource for accommodations in Punta Gorda is using Fly-Inn.com! Five listings are coming on in Punta Gorda next month, and the nightly rate might be much lower than this resort for a lot more house. They're so close to the runway, you can get there on a golf cart (provided). I'll send pics if you like --Carollyne
  4. That's why I said I found it on the Internet. Sorry if it didn't help. Not much of a mechanic here.
  5. This is what I found on Internet: To replace the ice light bulb on your Mooney, first ensure the electrical systems are off. Locate the screws around the light housing, carefully remove them, and take off the cover or lens. Remove the old bulb (it might be a twist or screw base) and insert the new one, avoiding touching it directly with your hands if it’s halogen. Reattach the cover, making sure the seal is properly aligned to prevent moisture, tighten the screws, and turn the system back on to test it. Don’t forget to log the maintenance in your aircraft records. I hope this helps!
