  1. I owned the only Allison 250-17 Turbine Lancair ES.... it was a blast to fly but the cruise speed was about the same as the Super ES with the IO-550 with twice the fuel burn and 7x the cost for an overhaul. Stick with what you have...
  2. Well, I should have come here first! Thanks for the quick response!!
  3. I can't seem to get a straight answer... is the jumper behind the key switch needed if you have a single dual Bendix D-3000 magneto? (#1 jumper installed when LEFT MAG has IMPULSE COUPLING or is RETARD BREAKER MAG). I'm thinking if the jumper is not needed, then I will have spark on all plugs during start.
  4. One I get everything together, I'll start a new thread. Thanks, Guy
  5. (SOLD) I'm currently upgrading my panel and selling everything. I know this post is a bit old, but if your still need a KY197 I have one in working order. $400.00 Thanks, Guy
  6. I've used Cody in the past. He built up a propeller for my Garrett powered Lancair IVP. I didn't realize he worked on Mc Cauley propellers, but I'll give him a call. Thank you
  7. I normally just use a canopy cover anytime I overnight and lock the door... But then again, the factory locks are so crappy, you can most likely open with any common screwdriver...
  8. Turns out my McCauley 2 blade propeller didn't pass inspection when sent in for overhaul.... If anyone upgraded to a 3 bladed, and still has there 2 blade propeller sitting around, please let me know. Guy Foreman 321-626-7699 cell
