  1. SOLD!
  2. I bought a GMA 345 just under a year ago meaning to keep it for as long as I owned my Mooney. I had an unexpected opportunity to upgrade to a GTN 750 and needed to replace the GAM 345 with a 35 to save on panel space. I'm selling my GMA 345 with rack, back plate and new connector kit. $1000.00. Great deal for a year old Bluetooth and with a USB charger audio panel. SOLD.
  3. I have a 262 as well from Mod Squad. I made a check list from the POH as well as supplements from installations and I have the POH supplement with the new performance data if you don't have that. I would be happy to send you both if you still need them.
  4. Curios to hear exactly what solved your problem @donkaye. I installed the GFC 500 on my M20K and have a +- 20 oscillation from selected altitude. It happens intermittently. My company has a Bonanza A36 the we installed the same autopilot and it has the same issue. Works perfectly otherwise.
  5. To answer a couple questions that have been brought up. How is a GE4509 bulb, leather, etc. authorized since there is no PMA or TSO? Every part on your on a type certificated airplane is certified to be installed in the airplane through the certification process and issuance of the type certificate. That is why you won't see a TSO or PMA on light bulbs or a stringer or rib... Also, keep in mind that just because a part has a TSO, the TSO itself is not authorization to install the part on any aircraft. A PMA and it's list is authorization for those TC's listed. In order for your aircraft to be "airworthy" it has to meet it's TC or be in a properly altered state. Technically, if the parts you are installing on your aircraft were not approved under the type certificate, STC, or part 21 for replacement parts, field approval, or DER whether minor or major alterations, your airplane is not in a properly altered stated. A&P IA privileges do not include authoring parts for installation on aircraft. Standard parts are typically hardware, wiring, etc. They are considered standard parts because they are made to very specific criteria, AN, MS, Mil-Spec. An AN bolt for example has to meet load requirements, be made of very specific materials, meet nominal size tolerances etc. much like a TSO. These requirements are published and verifiable.
  6. Thanks @carusoam! Reached out to them.
  7. Thanks for the LASAR suggestion Andy95W, I'm in California so they are usually my first phone call. They can only order a new part for me... Carusoam, I did forget the model! Oops.. I have an M20K 25-001, the part is the bellcrank, furthest aft that connects to both elevators.
  8. I’m in need of a serviceable bellcrank. Mooney says the will fabricate a -503 “sometime soon” but no real timeline. Mooney has given me part numbers for replacing the lock bolts but need reference for oversized holes to repair properly. I’ve heard TopGun in Stockton has repaired and sold these in the past. Anyone have any info on that? If anyone has a lead on repairing and or availability of a serviceable one let me know. It would be greatly appreciated.
  9. Thanks for the info. Looks like the best option is a retrofit kit that steals away from safe flight.
  10. Looking for the part number to M20k stall warning switch. Could not find in IPC except for in the de-ice TKS section. Not sure if it’s the same without the TKS panels. Anyone known it or where it might be hiding in the IPC? 25-001
  11. Does adding a Merlyn waste gate alone to a GB bring/manage the CHTs to LB no waste gate levels?
