  1. The response has been great! I love the pilot community.
  2. I’m absolutely interested in this.
  3. Thanks very much. That would be great! If weather permits , we will get in touch with you in a few weeks and fly down from KTRI.
  4. My wife and I are currently saving money for our (mostly mine ) dream plane. The plan is to look for a Mooney C , E or an F. Those seem to be the models in our budget. The F model is our favorite so far. I wonder if there's anyone who would mind us looking at your Mooney and sitting in it and checking it out to get an idea if it's for sure the type we want. I have been in an old C model but that was years ago. She's only seen them on the ramp but does think "they're very pretty". I'm not looking to bum free flight time , just drop by and kind of "size it up". We live in Northeast Tennessee so anything reasonably close would work. I think this may help her get a little more excited about it. Thanks
  5. New member here. I’m not an owner (yet). I’ll be seriously looking for a M20F in a few short years. I was originally looking at Cherokee 180’s but it’s just hard to beat a Mooney for the traveling that my wife and I want to do I’m from North East Tennessee. Typically fly out of KJI and KVJI and rent 172’s from both places. I have my instrument and my commercial and around 300ish hours. Looking forward to learning about Mooney’s in this site .
  6. Other then go flying. Lol
  7. So you’re planning a flight for the next morning and realize that you have too much weight. For whatever reason you can’t take out baggage or passengers. You must offload some fuel. ( yes, you will still have plenty of reserve in this hypothetical situation ) Have you done this and what’s been your experience ? 5 gallon jugs ? Siphon hose ? Ground strap ?
