    If I am not forced to work at the other Dallas KDAL airport, my wife and I will make the short hop or drive over from Mesquite KHQZ

    Go talk to Chip at Mesquite Aviation. Chip owns an E model and his Chief Pilot helped me retrieve my J and transitioned me into the J. which is based at Mesquite. Forgot to add that his IA is also pretty Mooney Savy when it comes your mechanical needs.

    You may want to check the fuel servo it could be that it is getting gunked up so that the actual airflow through it and what it meters the fuel at don't fully line up thus having to play with the mixture to smooth it out.
