    Agreed. Do a run up. Every time you start the engine. But to answer your question, you most likely have a fouled plug. Lean the mixture and run at higher rpms then recheck the mags. Usually will clear in about a minute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My glide rings are gone also.

    I have a 69 Mooney Model F and I dislike the electric flaps preferring the manual flaps I have flown in other plane types. Does anyone know if there is an electric to manual flap conversion?
